The demonstration included a simulated rescue mission, with the helicopters practicing hoisting mock casualties from a mock crash site on the park’s field.
Local aerobatic pilot John Black impressed crowds with his solo stunts, performing flips and rolls in a vintage biplane that contrasted sharply with the modern jets.
