Astronaut High School’s Class of 2026 will graduate Wednesday, May 20, at 7 p.m. in the Storey–Taylor Stadium at Viera Regional Park. The event will be streamed live on Space Coast Daily TV, sponsored by Eastern Florida State College. Brevard Public Schools confirmed the schedule for the district’s high school graduations, which will take place over three days starting May 20.
The ceremony will follow a traditional format, with speeches, awards, and the commencement address. Eastern Florida State College’s sponsorship includes technical support for the live broadcast, which will be accessible to viewers across Brevard County. The school district said the event is expected to draw hundreds of families to the stadium, located near the intersection of Saturn and Titan roads in Viera.
Other graduations in the district will occur Thursday and Friday. Edgewood Jr./Sr. High School will graduate at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the King Center in Melbourne. Bayside High School and Rockledge High School will hold ceremonies Thursday at 7 p.m. at Palm Bay Stadium and Viera Regional Park Stadium, respectively. Space Coast Jr./Sr. High School and Eau Gallie High School will graduate Friday at 7 p.m. at the King Center and Viera Regional Park Stadium.
The Class of 2026 includes 287 students, according to Brevard Public Schools data. Graduation rates for the class are expected to exceed 95 percent, aligning with the district’s recent performance metrics. The ceremonies will be the first major public events held at Viera Regional Park Stadium since its renovation last year, which added new seating and improved lighting for evening events.
