The 59th Annual Grant Seafood Festival will return to the Grant Municipal Complex on March 7 and 8, featuring fresh seafood, local vendors, and family-friendly activities. The event, a staple of Brevard County’s calendar, draws crowds from across the region to enjoy coastal cuisine and community traditions. Admission is free, with parking available on-site at the complex located at 2150 Grant Street, Grant, Florida.
The festival will include live cooking demonstrations by local chefs, a variety of seafood vendors selling everything from shrimp and oysters to crab and scallops, and a kids’ zone with games and face painting. Food trucks and local businesses will also be present, offering samples of regional specialties. The event has grown significantly since its inception in 1965, when it was a small gathering of fishermen and families.
Grant resident and event organizer Linda Carter said the festival remains a celebration of the area’s fishing heritage. 'This event brings the community together every year,' she said. 'We’ve seen it grow from a few booths to hundreds of vendors, but the focus has always been on fresh seafood and local culture.'
