⚾ Baseball at the USSSA Complex

USSSA Space Coast Complex (5800 Stadium Pkwy) hosts youth baseball, fastpitch softball, and adult slowpitch. The operator lists 15 all-turf fields. Start with the official event calendar to choose an event for your visit.

Use The Avenue Viera's current directory to choose shops, a meal stop or a movie. It lists AMC Theatres alongside retailers and restaurants. The center lists its address as 2261 Town Center Avenue; check the individual business or theater for hours, showtimes and ticket availability.

Viera Wetlands, officially the Ritch Grissom Memorial Wetlands, is a county treatment-wetland system used for birding and wildlife observation. Brevard County lists daily hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Access roads are closed to unauthorized motorized vehicles: park in the designated area and continue on foot or by bicycle. For an animal-focused outing, Brevard Zoo lists its address as 8225 North Wickham Road, Melbourne. Check its visitor page for current admission and accessibility information. The zoo's FAQs explain that animal feedings, kayak tours, and train rides cost extra beyond general admission.

For a space-focused outing, use the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex's directions. Its guest entrance is on Space Commerce Way, Merritt Island. The operator advises entering the full name “Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex” in your navigation app: searching only for “Kennedy Space Center” can send you to the wrong location. The former Astronaut Memorial Planetarium on EFSC's Cocoa campus is a different facility. The college's April 2022 campus plan described the old planetarium as permanently closed after Hurricane Irma damage.
