Start with the bill in front of you

This checklist is for City of Melbourne utility customers. Check who issued your bill before choosing a payment site. Use the city’s Utility Billing page as your starting point; its payment link leads to the city’s Municipal Online Payments service. This is a payment guide, not a notice of a new service launch.

Choose quick payment or account management

For a one-time payment, the portal’s Quick pay option says no login is needed and asks for your account number. Choose sign-in or registration instead if you want account details, multiple-account management or e-billing. A payment-only visit and setting up ongoing account access are different tasks.

Registering? Gather three numbers first

The city says registration uses an email address, password and email confirmation. To add your utility account, have the account number, customer number and last bill number from your printed statement. In the Account Number-Customer Number box, the first part is your account number; the final six digits are your customer number. Missing the statement? Ask Utility Billing for help at 321-608-7100.

Check fees and any old AutoPay setup

The city’s FAQ says credit-card and e-check payments carry a convenience fee, but does not give an amount in that answer. Check the charge before confirming. If you rely on automatic payments, ask Utility Billing to confirm your enrollment when you are unsure; this guide cannot verify an individual account’s status.

Need help or prefer to pay offline?

For a person who can help with billing, call 321-608-7100 on weekdays, 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. The separate 24-hour payment line is 888-607-6745. The FAQ also lists in-person payment at City Hall, 900 E. Strawbridge Ave., weekdays 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m., and mail to P.O. Box 17, Melbourne, FL 32902-0012. Check the linked instructions before a visit or payment; this guide does not promise same-day processing or a fee-free method.
