Cocoa Beach Squid Lips remains temporarily closed; reopening date is unconfirmed
The restaurant’s own site confirms the closure. Florida Today reports a targeted December return, but the operator’s current location notice gives no reopening date.
Squid Lips’ Cocoa Beach restaurant at 2200 S. Orlando Avenue remains temporarily closed. Its own location page, checked October 4, displays a temporary-closure notice in both the main listing and the restaurant-hours section.
Florida Today’s October 1 dining roundup, available through AOL, reported that the restaurant was taking the remainder of the fall season off and targeting a December return. The current operator notice does not give a reopening date. December is a reported target, rather than a confirmed day to return.
The report said the company had not provided a specific reason for the shutdown. The operator’s notice also gives no explanation.
For anyone planning a visit to this Cocoa Beach location, check the restaurant’s own location page for a reopening announcement. A December target should not be treated as a promise that service will resume on December 1.
