After Satellite’s 55–13 win over Cocoa Beach: records, rankings and Friday’s road games
Satellite is 6–0 and Cocoa Beach is 5–1. Both head on the road October 2, with the Scorpions visiting Eustis and the Minutemen traveling to Palm Bay.
Satellite beat Cocoa Beach 55–13 in boys varsity football on Thursday, September 24. The Scorpions are now 6–0, while the Minutemen are 5–1. Both teams will be on the road for their next scheduled games Friday, October 2.
Where the teams stand
In MaxPreps’ September 27 rankings, Satellite is No. 105 in Florida and No. 1 in the Florida Division SSAA Atlantic list. Cocoa Beach is No. 344 statewide and No. 21 in that division. The division list compares a smaller group of teams than the statewide rankings.
In Sunshine State – Atlantic South Region play, Satellite is 3–0 and Cocoa Beach is 0–1. Those regional win-loss records are separate from the rankings above.
Two Fridays on the road
Satellite travels to Eustis on October 2, while Cocoa Beach visits Palm Bay. Both games are scheduled for 7 p.m.
The following Friday, October 9, Satellite is scheduled at Bayside and Cocoa Beach at Space Coast, again with 7 p.m. starts. Check the game listings before traveling in case plans change.
