Brevard HEAT and MCC win Tuesday: volleyball results and Thursday opponents

Brevard HEAT and Melbourne Central Catholic both won their girls varsity volleyball matches Tuesday, September 29. HEAT beat Rockledge in three sets, while Melbourne Central Catholic, or MCC, defeated Merritt Island Christian in four. Both teams have another match listed for Thursday evening.
Tuesday’s results
HEAT won at home, 25–10, 25–17, 25–17, according to the MaxPreps match box score. That is a 3–0 match result: three sets won to none. The team’s 2026–27 season page listed a 16–4 overall record when checked Wednesday, September 30.
MCC won away at Merritt Island Christian, 25–20, 25–15, 22–25, 25–23. The set scores show MCC took the first two, lost the third and won the fourth to finish the match 3–1. MaxPreps listed MCC at 8–9 overall on Wednesday.
