Melbourne Central Catholic beat Wildwood 54–14 in varsity boys football on September 25, according to MaxPreps. The Hustlers’ posted 2026–27 record is 4–1 overall and 2–0 in Class 1A District 6, where the service lists them first.

The record and ranking answer different questions

MaxPreps’ ranking snapshot is dated September 24, before the Wildwood game: MCC was No. 154 in Florida and No. 13 in Florida Division 1A. Those numbers are not a postgame rating or an official playoff seed. The current district record and that older ranking snapshot should not be treated as the same measure.

Next up: homecoming against Rockledge

MCC’s own varsity schedule lists Rockledge at Melbourne Central Catholic High School on Friday, October 2, at 7 p.m., marked as homecoming. That gives local fans a next-game plan alongside the result. The school’s schedule and the MaxPreps fixture agree on the opponent, date and time.

Before making the trip, check the school’s linked team schedule for changes. It offers an athletics-alert subscription alongside the October 2 listing. No ticket price or admission guarantee is established here; a scheduled game is not confirmation of ticket availability.

Sources were checked Sunday morning, September 27. The school page supplied the dates and homecoming designation but left the Wildwood score field blank; the final score and records above come from MaxPreps. The cover is a school reference photograph, not documentation of Friday’s game.
