Satellite’s historic season enters the playoffs tonight. The Scorpions host Lemon Bay at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, carrying a 9–0 record after completing the first undefeated regular season in school history, as reported by Florida Today. Merritt Island’s unbeaten run moves to Viera on Friday. Space Coast, Merritt Island Christian and Calvary Chapel Academy also have postseason games.

The confirmed slate below has one Thursday game and 11 Friday games. All kickoffs are listed at 7 p.m. Eastern. Bayside–Coral Springs Charter is treated separately because the current schedule and streaming listings disagree.

Tonight: Lemon Bay at Satellite

Satellite (9–0) hosts Lemon Bay (8–2) at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, in the Sunshine State Athletic Association (SSAA) Atlantic State Championship first round. The Scorpions secured their first undefeated regular season with a 53–0 victory over Tradition Prep on Oct. 22, according to Florida Today. Their nine listed wins total 390 points scored and 28 allowed. Tonight begins the postseason, with that regular-season milestone already achieved.

Lemon Bay arrives after five consecutive wins, most recently 58–34 at Okeechobee. That stretch includes at least 34 team points in each game. Whether the Manta Rays can sustain that scoring against a Satellite team allowing so few points is the central matchup question; the two schedules cover different opponents.

Friday’s unbeaten teams and playoff games

Merritt Island (9–0) at Viera (4–4): The Mustangs have scored at least 35 points in every listed game and beat Rockledge 49–0 last week. Viera’s 38–3 win over East River followed losses to Melbourne and Oviedo. The Hawks now get a chance to test that recovery against an unbeaten county opponent.

Space Coast (6–4) at King’s Academy (10–0): This is an SSAA Atlantic State Championship first-round game. The Vipers enter after losses to Cocoa, 49–7, and Holy Trinity, 34–21. The Vipers will have to rebound on the road against an unbeaten opponent.

Lake Mary Prep (2–8) at Merritt Island Christian (10–0): The SSAA eight-man first round brings a rematch of the Cougars’ 31–7 win on Sept. 25. Merritt Island Christian’s record includes one forfeit win.

Calvary Chapel Academy (6–3) at Shorecrest Prep (6–3): The other local eight-man first-round matchup pairs teams with the same overall record. Calvary has lost its last three games after a 6–0 start, while Shorecrest’s most recent listed result was a 41–13 win over Lake Mary Prep.

Two more Friday games to watch

Vero Beach (8–1) at Eau Gallie (6–3): The Commodores followed their 36–35 overtime loss to Merritt Island with wins over Titusville and Palm Bay, including last week’s 63–0 result. Vero Beach has won six straight since its loss to St. Frances Academy. Eau Gallie’s recent recovery gets a stronger-record opponent this week.

Heritage (5–4) at Melbourne Central Catholic (6–1): This county matchup also kicks off at 7 p.m. Friday. Heritage’s latest game was a 37–6 win over Port St. Lucie on Oct. 15. MCC has another game listed at Pahokee on Nov. 4, so Friday should not be presented as the end of every local team’s regular-season schedule.

Remaining confirmed Friday slate

Bayside kickoff: check the conflicting listings

Bayside and Coral Springs Charter’s schedules now both list Friday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m., matching the SSAA Atlantic BOUND bracket. The linked NFHS Network event still lists Thursday, Oct. 29, at 6:30 p.m. in Palm Bay. With that conflict unresolved, this matchup is not included in the confirmed count above. Fans should check the school’s latest announcement before traveling or relying on the stream listing.

Records, results and fixtures are from the linked MaxPreps schedules and SSAA brackets checked Oct. 29. Holy Trinity and Titusville have no remaining game listed for this week in those schedules. Check the linked team schedules for changes before traveling.
