Correction: Brevard County tax-increase article

Editor's note — October 19, 2026: We could not substantiate the specific proposal, quotations, audit figures or public forum described in our September 11 article. Its reference to a forum “next month” on March 15 and its treatment of 2025 as a future year were inconsistent with the article's date. We also could not verify the officials named as Commissioner Tom Henry and County Administrator Lisa Martinez or the quotations attributed to them.
