Correction: February 2026 Mims water notice
Our earlier account included a nonworking utility number and unsupported reporting. This archive correction does not establish the current status of a boil-water notice.
This page corrects our February 19, 2026 report. It is historical coverage, not a current boil-water advisory.
Our earlier version gave the nonworking number 321-555-0199 as a utility hotline. It also included claims about contamination, resident counts, a named spokesperson and an infrastructure project that we could not substantiate. This correction replaces that unsupported account.
Space Coast Daily’s contemporaneous report described a water-main break at Indian River Parkway in the Mims service area and said the repair had been completed. We have not established when that particular boil-water notice was rescinded.
For current, address-specific information, first confirm your water provider. Brevard County’s contact page lists 321-455-1339 for North Brevard service information or problems during business hours, and 321-455-1338 for after-hours emergencies. Contact details were checked October 20, 2026.
